Procedure

Radiesse is injected using a tiny needle into the base of the area affected, thus ‘plumping up’ and filling the treated area.

Treatment Intervals

Radiesse generally lasts twice as long as Restylane, therefore treatments are usually scheduled in twelve month intervals.

Treatment Time

Allow 45-60 minutes for a Radiesse treatment. More time may be needed if more than one syringe is requested.

Recovery

Radiesse often causes swelling of the treated area immediately after treatment. In general, one should plan for the swelling to be present for a period of 24 hours. To be safe, we would recommend that the treatment be done 1 week in advance of any social engagement.
